Since late, Lassana Flora has seen significant growth internally with the addition of many professionally qualified managerial staff. We are proud to have in our team, top designers, florists and highly acclaimed operational staff and exceptional managerial personnel who have contributed to the success of the company. Our staff is well-educated, well-trained and dedicated to serve our precious customers in an excellent manner. We respect each other as individual and work as a team while providing opportunities for career development.

We have team building training programmes, reward schemes by work performance. We have an annual award ceremony for recognition of best performing and long standing employees.

Employee’s involvement and engagement techniques are,

2)     5 S system for health, safety and housekeeping

3)     Environment and safety action teams for OHSAS and EMS international standards which we are in the process of obtaining with the support and engagement of employees

Conducting Annual Trips

Annual trips and picnics for the staff are organized to help our “Lassana Family” to relax with their colleagues and to enjoy and be happy.


Annual get-together

The annual get-together is where all members of Lassana Flora are invited along with their families and here they get an opportunity to meet and mingle with each other and thus build healthy relationships.


Award Ceremony

Every year Lassana Flora conducts an “Award Ceremony” where the contributions made by all employees throughout the year are recognized. In addition, many other contests are held in which all employees could participate.

Sinhala-Hindu New Year festival

Lassana Flora conducts an “Avurudu Uthsawaya” (New Year Celebration) every year in month of April and this event helps employees to enjoy the festival season. The objective of this event is to enhance harmony among all the colleagues, who may belong to different religious and ethnic groups.


Free transport to staff

Free transport is provided to most senior staff members who have been working for Lassana Flora for more than 6 years and two motor bicycles are allocated to Marketing Executives.

Employees who worked after 6.00 pm are eligible for free transport with prior approval of the Management.


Hostel facility and meals at affordable prices

Since most of our staff members hail from distant locations, we provide a Hostel Facility for our male employees, where they can stay at an affordable price with meals provided. A reasonable amount is charged to cover the wages of the hostel cook and his assistant while the rest is borne by the company. The Hostel is located at Habarakada where Lassana Flora warehouse is situated.
